How many people ever heard of the game i love it and still play it to this day its the only game other than starcraft i have continually played over the years because it is great the AI is amazing

and the supply system makes the game pretty **** good

Heres a pic of the after lobby
in this game i was terran against the Mantis and the AI was set to Impossible

I suggested that to Optec quite some time ago, but its too much work to do it all over again with some other game plus it prolly isnt as moddable as A2 is. Also the grapics arent better, I like the different quadrants and the supply system though, still some aspects, such as building, wouldnt really fit into a ST game Sad

I also suggested to Optec another engine: Hegemonia: The Solon Heritage
The graphics are just amazing (better than homeworld 2 IMO) and the gamestyle really suits a ST game (research and planets are the most important thing - there are more than 200 researches and everything is built at planets). If anyone hasnt played it yet I really recommand it. Or just look at screenshots, you'll be amazed Wink

Dont mention Armada here

Conquest frontier wars is 100x the game Fleetops is let alone Armada seriously

I can play against the AI and have a battle that will last me over 9h now you tell me thats possible with Armada ?

Conquest is epic the Admiral system just adds so much more fun to the game

Supplies add the great ingredient to the missing RTS space games

and best of all i can loose to the AI 1vs1

Speeking of good rts's, Age Of Empires III is out, and Battle for Middle Earth 2 is on the horizon.

Bah those 2 suck just too much. They are just games who rely on their famus previous games(AOE) or on a famus movie(BfME)

AoE is my favorite RTS series (minus Age of Mythology, that one sucked.).  And despite the faillings of its predacessor, BfME2 is actually gonna be a good game.

in CFW when i play the computer on anything over normal level, all it does is build defensive platforms, and no fleets, it's kind of boring. except when your fighting the terrans, those ion cannon really tick me off. and for some reason the game thinks i have some phantom firewall and it can't connect. so i'm stuck with the cpu players

i have 1.07 too. but i've tried playing online. that stupid firewall crap that came with my computer, it wasn't helping at all so i uninstalled it, and with a few games (CFW included) can't get passed my nonexistent firewall.
