I've heard some very disturbing news:  Paramount has said it is taking Star Trek.com offline!  I cannot fathom what their reason for doing this may be, but after all they ARE Paramount, so its probably pretty stupid and very ill-concieved.

Its still a cornerstone of the Trek community, and they have a very active forum.  Plus, they recently got a cartoon strip.

such a shame to see that star trek is dying out.  i can hold off with scifi fridays but i realy want a star trek series.  mayby the titan

I'm sure whoevers writing the Titan novels has it copywrited.  I wouldn't expect Paramout to go through the hassle just to get some more "franchise fatigue"...

In case you didn't read through the rest of the topic, yes, they are still up.  They managed to make Paramount and Viacom see reason.  Not sure how, though.
