Wow this reminds me of ENT, i just saw the first episode.

i personally like the 70's version where men wore tights and the ship looked like a big over sized plastic cigar with 2 large warp thingies on the side and where females wheren't allowed to be a pilot untill later in the series and finally when they get to earth they get superpowers like superman....

oh and computers that big and bright green that it would hurt your eyes after 5 minutes

all i want is men in tights, cheesy lazer sounds and 70's haircuts and high tech computers with buttons the size of pancakes. is that too much to ask?

well it started the same, well more devastation with the planet and only one battle star survived. and those vipers had in the 70's version lazers and here well machineguns. but the idea is the same, they are fleeing and going to earth.

well i give credit they did changed some personalities and starbuck is a female. the captain alot more darker and think earth doesn't exist.  more about civillians that tag along.

so i guess my problem is I seen the original so I am going to compare it. it is cool for the people who haven't seen it but it is like sayng now ovr 20 years. OH no they are going to remake the power ranger I like the old 90's version better

mighty morphin power rangers. a 90's show that is made by a japanese producer weho can't write a script. a floating head named zordan give 4 school shildren who wear always the same clothes in the colour of the rangers powers to protect sunny dale high. they have emplems that power themself to ninja's

and every episode goes like this. an evil person from the moon wants to destroy sunnydale high  and dend in an monster based an an animal and the powerrangers (5 of them) almost defeats them with hand to hand combat and then  the evil one oversized the monster to godzilla and then the powerrangers summon their plasic toy machines and  transform like k'nex style as a big transformer and defeat the monster. and that is what happens every show. i think there was a movie aswell
