well, they can make a good story and the producers can go behind every ones back, and add SFX to the movie.

but, i would enjoy a good script, and special effects; the two aren't mutually exclusive you know

i agree, but good (and original) scripts from star trek have been far and few...

I would like one of thoses movies that jumps all over, and you get glimpses of 6 story lines or so, and it all makes sense when all the story lines come togeather in the end
