Well I was actually starting a thread similar to the trivia one above (before I knew there was one here XD ) and to my suprise everyone was stumped by the question about the akira, and then a question about What was the first ship destroyed in the Dominion War. Nobody knew (by the way I was aiming for Oddesy but) note this was on a site called proboards support, note 80,000 or so members XD

or was that before the war started (technically speaking)

hmm... well, can't be the original series since everyone looked human and spoke english. it isnt the first movie, nor the second, i think it was someone in the third movie

I don't want to ask another question, but the answer is:

Ambassador Sarek... eh, Mark Lenard of course.

He played the Klingon commander on a vessel attacked by V'ger.
However, the words he spoke were created by James Doohan. Smiley

So it was a Federation engineer who taught a Vulcan ambassador to speak Klingon. Cheesy
