Thanksgiving is a holiday of togetherness when the pilgram settlers came to America on the May Flower, they were confronted by the Indians, Thanksgiving was the day they layed down arms and sat with their Native American brothers and ate a large meal, with a turkey Smiley thats the heavily abridged version but you get the idea, it's all about being thankful for what you have, and for coming together Smiley

i thought thanksgiving was to celebrate the slaughter of the native americans during that time.

Ahem, before you start bad mouthing America to me, i'd like to point out when you say "you" that my family immigrated here from Italy, Sicily actually, so it's not "you" it's "Americans" because it wasn't my people, we were busy killing the greeks and what not (woah, time line's way off lol) LOL
