i belive that a garrason type thing would be good because that would work in the favor of fighters and then ships could go in yards, docking rigs and what not space dock

I think that some ships should be faster (i dont think theres enough speed diff between the large and small ships) but having a garrison system would be difficult, you could implement it with the Fed starbase (have ships fly inside and each ship adds its crew count to the station, which gives the starbase higher fire rates or something of the sort.

Apart from that, I really couldnt see garrison systems working in FO, my op tho.

Chill.

Garrisons have been tried many times in A2 but no one ever got it working, apart from the FO teams ability to work miracles I dont think its possible.

The garrison idea sounds good, but it sounds like it would take a major rework of the game engine to make it work, though...

like ships docking with a starbase/station. and staying inside it, like in the shows and movies.

It sounds like a good idea, but I don't see how it would work...
