wasn't the thunder child a nebula class at wolf 359?

---edit
nope wasn't a type IX. type 9 warpcores are use in defiants, galaxys, new orleans, and nebula class starships.

neat fact, the first 2 intrepid class ships had type VII warp cores, but they were upgraded and all intrepids underproduction were refitted with new more powerful ones, mainly because the intrepid has a higher rate of energy consumption, far higher then ships of similar size.

Quote
the akria  i think it was the thunder child ?
That would be her, ILM saw Jaeger (sp?) concept and was thrilled, and decided that it would be the ship that would define itself in the battle other than the enterprise, because they didn't want all the Fed ships being low detail, so they needed one design that really really stuck out. The akria slid across the desk and was chosen, subsequently it is a tech geek favorite and the model has made numberous other apperances in DS9 and Voyager. becoming one of the only non lead ships (constitution, intrepid, defiant, galaxy,  sovi) Other than the Excelcior, Nebula, and Miranda to make so many appearances in such clear detail

"what did pike say"... when? we never saw his first moment on the bridge, we only saw some scene from a battle, something or other, used in a court years later
