I know something that would be better ^^ have a look on www.startrekgames.de . st-galaxy installed a tool there on which ST-Gamers can participate on ladders. If its possible for Armada 2...why not for FleetOps? You could register on the forums ( you can also read the page and forums in english, transtlated by babel fish...this translator not very creative, i know, but better then nothing) on www.st-galaxy.de and ask if they could open a FleetOps ladder for you. we should have a prize like you get to pick a new class of ship
or a special patch that lets you play with a certain ship that no one else has

i think the main problem with tournaments are, people say they will show up and then you get two people, you and one other person, i tried about 4, theres only one member here from the tournament list and that was detektor, and look how often he shows lol

Why don´t you let manage this a tool? There everyone can see when the next match is. You can challenge other teams / players and its a continous "tournament" over months. On a tool all players could sign up with their nick and participate on ladders. On startrekgames.de the possibility for a A2: FleetOps ladder has already been done. You just have to ask for that...i could, but i don´t want to. I think thats not my job to ask myself opening a FleetOps ladder  ... that would be strange... You are all welcome sTg also offers support in english. And be sure: If V3 is out there will be a ladder for it, but the time to the release could be shortened by a V2 ladder. |

How about you play as many games as you want against other people, then you report on a special section of forum win or lose, after 2 months each person will get a percentage or ratio of win/lose
top 4 people go on a playoff game winner take all

well, see...people aren't always the most honest of beings  The capacity to lie is a bit of a gift within a curse...It'd be better that a moderator or some volunteers be online to just observe the games, and take screenshots of the winning/losing screen, that way they wouldn't be able to lie Playoff sounds nice, i'd be owned before I got that far (then you guys can fight me at homeworld and warcraft III, then we'll see who wins! )but it'd be fun to watch (Nice sig Adama You'll be the only one here who get's my galactica quotes ) |
