I beautiful mod was brought to my attention. It's in a thread over at AFC. I wouldn't say it's competing with fleet ops in any way, but it looks to be a very nicely put together mod.

There are about 19 or more screeshots, so I won't post them here. If you wish, you can just visit the thread they are already in.

It originates from Armadamods.de, but I found it first at AFC.

i think my comp had a heart attack just loading those pics :omg:
very impressive, but how many people have the hardware to run that at faster than slide show speeds? Shocked  but still very impressive particually for armada standards.

No no, that mod really wouldn't be any more taxing on your system than Fleet Ops. I really don't understand where people are getting that idea from.

If you think about it there are games with far more graphics than this but have reasonable system requirements. Ok when modding the system requirements go up quickly but they don't get anywhere as near as high as people imagine.
