I've been playing against the computer for a long time now at hard settings (ai needs almost no resources, builds instantly blabla) and i found out something interesting... The log showed that the computer almost always used only about 10% of its resources but all of its crew - 100%, therefore its fleet is always limited by how fast it can grow ("reproduce") crew...
ALL the AI players also almost always send their fleets simultaneously... Not really smart, once one gets used to it... And the computers faster ships get across the maps much more quickly leaving them to be easy targets... The AI doesnt use cloak often enough...
Also it usually builds its defence really stup*** (not smart:)

As i want the game to be harder i was wondering how to make the ai more mean, more efficient...

As i'm tired of making maps, i'd love another challenge...
Any poiters, suggestions, tutorial on AI maybe?

Is there at least a possibility to make AI build more stations?

Thanks!

Have fun!

Yep, we completely reworked the AI for v3 and will add additional new AI features in v4 and later to make it a real challange even for experienced players Smiley

Or play vs actual people, they usually give you more of a run for your money.

my cpu enemies usually just build a few ships and loadup on turrets, and they don't attack me at all. unless i do me vs a team of two vs another computer or more.
