I really like the Nova- and Canaveral- class vessels, although now in v3 the canaveral is being changed... will it earn the same respect it once held with me in v2...

Except I was referring to respect earned by usefulness and practicality, in the line of fire. Looking at pictures does nothing for my strategies.

for me it would be the Lakota, New Orleans, or Ambassador classes.

To Casper:  Canon, noncanon, it really makes no diffrence exept to a few sticklers who hate ingenuity at work.  So yes, noncanon is acceptable.

To Cpt Ryan:  Ya, I always liked that design.  The Hornet/Corona design looks like an intestellar hot-rod.

i guess non-cannon would be the Pathfinder class (sorry i don't know the link)

now ships i'd like to serve on

cannon= new orleans, or a Hoplite class ship (both are nice & not too big)

non-cannon= Pathfinder class (thast's the hard one)

the hornet is what i think the defiant should have looked like  Smiley   small powerfull yet still retaining those gracefull lines that charactorise fed ships  Wink

I think that the Defant is pretty graceful, but not even close to the Hornet/Corona...
