the enterprise-A was a great ship for it's time, but just after it was refitted, it was due to be mothballed, what's the point of refitting a ship if you're just going to scrap it. (sorry for any mispelling, i'm tired and have a head ach)

I'd go with the Excelsior, the original NX one.
I like the Nebula class too; very under-rated IMO.

and the causalities with the defiant vs lakota. the defiant has a crew of like 35 (if i remember correctly), and the lakota has a crew complement of like 250 crew members, so that probably explains the casualty figures, or atleast partly.

Preis = price Leistung = performance, work Verhältnis = proportion, ratio The full term is "Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis" meaning the proportion of price to performance. My PONS translates Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis to "costeffectiveness". He was referring to the fact that the Sabre gives you much bang-for-the-buck.

The Defiant has a crew complement of 40. In an emergency, in can carry 150 people.

there is no need to get picky, especially when your wrong in your correction its actually 50 Defiant stats I did more research, but it came out inconclusive. Here's some of the places I looked: Ex-Astris-ScientiaTrekmaniaMemory-AlphaThe three sites came out with 47, 50, and 40, respectively.
