could you give us a dxdiag of your pc? (i'm assuming its windows...) (go to start>run and type dxdiag then click save and post the file)

if no one is able to find the problem then just say that it is the best game you have ever played  Cheesy

when does the problem exactly occour? when? during file extracting or just when you start the setup.
btw. i don't know if your system can take on fleet operations with 128mb ram and nvidia vanta chip...

btw. quite nice sig Smiley

edit: welcome to the forums! Tongue

yes when it crashes would be very helpful to know (sorry i didn't ask that in the begining...) also you might want to try closeing all background processes, press control+shift+escape then click on the processes tab and close every thing that says your user name under the user name colum EXCEPT! svchost, explorer, and taskmgr then exit out of the window and try; i agree with doca that your system might not be able to handel the game but that shouldn't affect the install process

BTW welcome to the forums (sorry i didn't say so earily, didn't see your post count

do you have admin access to your computer?

and does Armada 2 install normally? (this is to check if the disk is ok)

maybe your download of fo was screwed up. i've never heard of this happening with any other mod or game (certainly never happened to me) so i can only suggest that you redownload the mod. if it happens again, it must be the computer, it defies logic

the setup has an build in crc check so theoreticaly a download error would be instantly shown up before the real setup shows up. in this very rare case i can only give you the advice to scan for a virus or check what background applications are running causing this behauviour. still, consider that your system may not be strong enough to take on fleet operations

i just checked. you have an usb cd-rom drive attached to your pc, have you tried using your build in cd-rom drive instead? could you try to unplug your usb cd-rom and see if it's working then?

just an idea, i never tried installing from an usb cd-rom drive but it may be worth trying
