no, you will have to stay at the side of your admiral during the whole game :-) there is no possibility to assign another admiral..
the only thing is, that you can capture a shipyard and a starbase (outpost, assimilation matrix..) from a player which has assigned another admiral.. this way you can build the special ship he gave to the other player... if an admiral has an research cost bonus, a construction cost bonus, a mining rate bonus or something you can capture this by capturing the specific vessels or stations from the enemy.. for example if you capture a science station from a -10% costs guy you can research the upgrades of this stations with the reduced costs

:-D yes! this sounds really really good, ok iv said this before, but i would really like to see some sort of sheald thing for the Borg, or hull inprovement, as a directive or something on like 1 ship, like the orginal cube, that would be cool,

sounds pretty good, because i like the pro:gen mod.
i hope some kind of a new game type will be in the next betas.

Another new game idea. Start of with a trading station,few defenses and a planet. Then disable the rest of the tech tree and make some sort of way to warpin ships without credits with a building. Start with one of these 2. Then, use your trade ships, starters, or warpins, to trade with all the other players, make latinum, then warping guardships. To make it more challenging maybe u could have npc raiders, or blockades. Make for interesting bribes

hmmmmmm well does the general have the ability too move his flag from station too station or move in a designated ship......seems kinda unrealistic too have him related to only one place....in the "real" trek world he would be protected and moved at the first sign of attack......my suggestion is like the romulan spy.....take him take him out.....kinda keeps with the dream......
