No sense in tying to rush it: it'll come out when the developers are satisfied, and we all will be suitably impressed I am positive. I mean, look at the remaining tasks, they are basically bug fixes and the same few model fixes we have had for months. I think they are exactly where they want to be in terms of development. Probably the Avalon fix was something like a nasty hole in the side of the ship at a certain angle or something. Don't worry, have hope, and remember, even though we are close to the release, no need to get super antsy about it.

it's a graphics performance upgrade. some tweaking here and there but quite important to overall performance. and for the avalon fix, yes, it's something like that. optec tweaked the model a bit and i gave the avalon some new textures a few weeks back. i just noticed there was a little glitch in the model that now gets improper lighting in one place, thats the whole todo. yea, besides the modeling tasks only a few things have to be done. we are currently in the phase of internal testing, thats why there "little glitch" todos are popping up. also some of these glitch-fixing-todos are part of not yet announced features, thats why they are rated "classified". so don't worry, shouldn't take all to long anymore...

GAGH! Every single time u guys say, "Some little project that the public doesn't know of," or "new, unknown feature," or "unannounced feature" I just get SOOOOOO excited! You guys have done this great. You've got this whole releasing thing down to an art, and it's just SOOO cool. I can't wait for you guys to release this!

What I really like is the situation, that everybody here who is involved in FO, make some visits here in the forum! So all the time I never felt that the mod would not find an end...the only question - for me - was, how many time they need to make it..hm..perfect

Hmm... That's odd... Two of the "critical" tasks (Dom Mixed Texh and Sovie model) have been shunted back to "urgent"... I wonder why...

Eye Candy GOOOOD!I like the Idea of having ships gather Rank for kills. How ever the Borgs ships might become unbalanced. So are the Borge acheaving rank at a differnt rate? Keep up the good work Fleet Ops.Developers!!

Yep the Borg wont feature ranks as Drones are not known for gaining experience we made the individual modules of the Borg Module System a little more powerful to give Borg Players their own way in customizing and taking care of their vessels.
