Don't worry, I'm not trying to flame u, k?

I noticed that u've only had 4 posts in the forum? Without being "flamish" or rude, might I suggest that you spend some time in the forum, to get a feel of the environment here, and how people think and interact with eachother? I think you'll find that most people are so excited with the mod, and we ALL realize how wonderful this team of..how many people was it? 2? 3?... has created a mod that has FAR surpassed it's original version, that all of us are happy to wait the extra...month? month and a half tops? added by updating the graphics, or changing some code, or even altering a model. Also, to top off the cake, this mod isn't just the team of 2/3 people. This mod has been something that has been created up by countless fans. It isn't just a dev team creating a modification of a game, it's a community of people re-creating a game how it should have been. (I realize that I partially contradict myself here, but previously I was emphasizing the team of people that was actually coding/modeling/physical creation and laboring over the game)

Thanks for trying to give us some pointers, but i suggest that you try to get a feel for the community, before you start criticizing what the community has created/almost created.

I have been lurking for quite a while. I usually don't post unless I have something to contribute. That doesn't mean I'm having a go at those that post whore or anything, I do that kind of thing somewhere else.

Poor planning and out of control?

These guys should be lifted up on our shoulders (provided they aren't all that heavy), and heralded as living Gods for the work they've done in changing A2 into something still playable after all this time. At which point we will all jump the one girl at this event, she probably got lost or accidentally came with one of the forum members. After she escapes, we will then sit down and drink German liquor, as I believe it is legal for all but the youngest in Germany.

I find the idea of someone browsing the forums, and deciding that one of the few posts they will make would try to intentionally attack the mod's developers. I hope you sir are burned at the stake for your heresy. I mean honestly, what could you possibly accomplish by posting that? It's not even constructive.

Agreed! I borrowed A2 from a friend sooo many years ago and i loved it! i love star trek and this is the only game i've ever played of star trek, when i discovered Flops i was amazed and continue to be impressed! The developers have done something great, surely 1 of the best gaming mods ever made, the sheer volume and effort put into it is astounding.

So tonight i will rise a bottle of Warsteiner and salute the Flops team! Hip Hip Qapla'! Hip Hip Qapla'! Hip Hip Qapla'!

Keep up the good work guys, i'm with you in drunken spirit!  LOL LOL

Just a little note to the moderators...would it be possible to not discuss this subject on this particular thread? Like...move it somewhere or something like that? I was just thinking, this was a thread for when the game was going to be released, and now it's become (Or at least has partially become) a thread about how the devs have/haven't been "good" in creating a mod.

@ Phlexor... To go offtopic slightly... "postwhoring" might not necessarily be the motive behind these type of posts. Some people are more social than others and like to post their views... on anything. If everyone was silent, now what kind of forum would that be. Some like to have private thoughts, others public. Neither should be considered wrong on this forum (dunno on others... cnc3 has a load of flaming though, as does petro)
