can someone tell me how i can add sounds, more specifically voice overs to beta2?

i've tried to make sounds from bridge commander work as voice overs for fo2 as sounds for a hero ship. eg: THE uss defiant, but nothing happens. i've put the sounds themselves in the voiceover folder, and labelled them correctly in the ship odf but the sounds dont work, the old sounds don't play either, nothing else has been disrupted the game works perfectly ok.. so im a little confused huh

the ship odf is called : defiantA and you start off with it (can't be built)

If u replace the files and rename them as the previous ones were named I think everything should work perfectly Smiley

this didn't work Sad damn it, the sounds still won't work  huh . nothing else is wrong though.

Prehaps it is the format of the voiceover you're trying to replace? Smiley

Would it be something you have to replace in the gui_gobal? Some line of text in there might be it.

can't find anything in the sprite files to do with sounds. Sad
