skin-tight shields are only on the Enterprise E, and probably the other sovreigns. Highly advanced new tech, not going to be refitted to every ship.

those skin tight shields were only seen in nemesis, in "first contact" Enterise had the bubble shields like the other ships, so you don't know whether the other fed ships had it cos you never saw them in the film.

would be cool if this was implemented in bridge commander cool
