Why not just set the weapons so they do about 50% of the normal damage to Borg Vessels?

OR just make it for hull, seeing as it's not borg shields which are so strong.

yeah, theshields dont seem that powerfull, however the borg do seem to be able to tune them so that they seem to adapt to everything.

how about a special weapon that, once activated adapts to a random weapon type (Phasers OR torps OR pulses), but all the other weapons do normal damage. Effect lasts for as long as there is special weapon energy. players (& AI) will have to ration special energy if they want to keep this ability a viable option or settle for the specific class special (holding beam, transwarp, assimilator beam etc...). Also try to make it so this special is only available to use while some shield strength remains.
