Tell me about it.  You know what the real problem with videogame violence when it comes to children - the parents themselves!!!  I wouldn't be surprised if some if not all of the members of that group have actually bought games for their kids.  Must have been their periods or PMS. LOL

If they do become real, I would be most outraged.  It's the parents' fault to begin with, and they should be punishing themselves.

for many of these problems i blame rockstar(evil, evil company almost as bad as microsoft...) ... some games are just stupid BUT unless someone was already prone to violence then i doubt serverly that a game would make then go and kill people, i play games that are considered violent but i don't kill people... and i doubt that anti video game fanatics (there is no other word for them) have played said games and therefore are just jumping on the band wagon (and yes i do realize that i am probably preaching to the choir  Smiley )

Hehe, yep. I think Eufnoc's quote is right.
On the other hand we do also blame drugs for making people addicted, even if it was their choice in the beginning if they wanted to take them or not..
After all the whole "Baaad computer games" story is just a "fashion" at the moment. they will calm down sonner or later Smiley I don't think the gamind industry, being quite important at the moment, would let themselves get into hurry cause of some little serial killers.
Sounds harsh, but i think thats reality.
Sex sells, violence sells.. its a problem of mankind, not of the game industry

well now we would have to start a very ethic discussion which can not be answered clearly.. ah yep, a difficult topic
