is the next beta going to be big or???

the size is estimated to be smaller than beta 1.1
beta 2.0 contains many updates and new features
i will release a test program in the next days (when my comp does work again) to test some new compression methods making the setup file smaller

don't expect wonders, i estimate the setup file will decrease about 10% but therefore i don't have prepared the 2.0 files setup ready these calculations rely on beta 1.1 files

heh download sizes where never a problem for me Tongue  broadband 600k, 70kb a sec download speed hehe, i was just intrested how big beta 2.0 would be.

I dont care how big it is, even if its 300 MB I'll still download it on my 56K modem  cool I just normally leave my PC on over night to do the downloading, plus then I get more SETI units done  Cheesy

i use to have ntl as an dial up isp but what they did was they would make you dial up every 2 hrs as it would cut off automaticley and  i think aol does something simialar so glad i'm on board band
