In an attempt to entertain the masses while we all wait for V3, i decided to continue one of my part-time hobbies, story writing, by writing this story. It contains aspects of FO (such as the ships) but i've also added a few ideas of my own to add originality. It's attached to this post as an HTML document.

If this story proves popular, i may write some more and post them up. Of course, i have no idea what the FO team intends, so don't consider these stories related to their storyline in any way, though if they like them, they're more than free to adapt them. For now, consider these my veiws on what would be happening in FO if it really did follow on from Armada 1.

Anyway, enjoy. Constructive criticisim is always welcome.

EDIT: First story has been changed. Now includes reference of how Martok lost his eye (thanks to cts006 for reminding me).

Just a comment, It might make some sense to reference the jem hadar or the praticular one that took his eye instead of saying it was in one of his many battles, IMHO.

If you refer to the cival war between Gowron and the Duras where the tacyon detection grid was first implimented, and made a great episode or 2 that had sela in it, then I am almosy sure that Neg'vars did not exist in the klingon fleet at the time, during the time Gowron flew a Vor'cha class atack cruiser as his ship. The Neg'var was a ship I belive originaly created to be a new. bigger, powerfull, and more menacing flag ship for Gowron and then Martok for the klingon empire. Created for the episode Way of the warior on DS9.

Actually i'm running off of the Klingon Civil War outlined in Armada 1. The "backstabbing Sela" is reference to when Sela teamed up with the Borg to wipe out the last major Duras fortress (the last Romulan Mission in A1).

My theory is that Toral survived (since his death was never mentioned) and managed to rally a few remnants of the Duras family fleet, and now fights a gurilla war against the empire.

However, you are correct about the Negh'Var. I would have hold your prize high but its very hard to hold gaseous substances! LOL
