Actually the first Borg incursion into Federation space was made by a huge cube that was probably made out of alot of smaller ones.

Thats because you can't have a supercube attack an intrepid class in a series and expect the sotryline to make the cube sound too big and bad.

You'll probably find some (or alot) scaling issues in Trek aswell... not to mention that there seems to be no Z-axis to speak of.

And how about the well-known oh-so-creative "Forehead-of-the-week" aliens appearing throughout all ST series?
Scaling issues, ship strength issues (sub-chapter "How the Borg lost all menace"), the famous "extra in red shirt", inconsistencies involving warp speeds (partially solved by the subspace-corridor theory), people moving or talking while they are beamed, the apparent godhood of the Voyager and its crew, and the general "guys who are too stupid to actually be captain (security officer, admiral, w/e) but are right now to die or add some conflict to the story"

Scaling isuses, how about in first contact where tehy make the defiant 120-180m long 60m long.
I have one, Theres always an exact time or numebr put to things that could have alot of variables, like the warpcore will overload in 20.45 seconds? or we should get about 12 shots off before the borg adapt? 12??? how did worf get that number 10-15 shots would be a better way to put that, but assigning it an exact number? (Besides on enterprise they got off more than 12 shots with primitive weapons i think i counted 26 shots)

Enterprise is basicly the crap that startrek has become due to B&B. 12, 26, it doesn't matter, so long as it attracts veiwers. ST has always been full of unrealistic battles and huge lack of z axis. Enterprise takes this concept to the fullest, and a bit beyond that.
Red Shirts (unkown ensign/liutenant extras) are along with the purpose of getting killed off to add drama or simply add to the body count. A constant in ST. They never return, once they are on an away mission, it's over
There is some sort of need for kirk to get his shirt ripped to peices in battle every time melee conflict begins.
Everytime the enterprise fires phasers, it uses the same shot
Enemy ships are rarely shown if at all
There is always a spock/data/worf/odo/7of9/T'pol character among the crew dealing with a lack of emotion or otherwise dealing with trying to be more human.
The enterprise D can't keep an ensign/helmsman for more then 3 episodes
2, no 3, mabey 4 enterprises have been distroyed by birds of prey. Old rustbucket ships with a crew of around 12-13 seem to always destroy enterprise after enterprise. And are always if not destroying it, making some dang big arse holes. Also note that a war"bird" fleet destroyed the Enterprise C, or was it B? Do they have something againts "birds" or think birds rock or something.... oh and don't forget the enterprise E getting nearly destroyed by a reman war"bird"
They use every plausible opertunity to get a cast member naked, or half naked, atleast recently. Topless vulcan mediatation massages... Poor excuses to try and get veiwers via show off womens breasts. It's a bit of a low for star trek, which was something of a family show a while back. It would be alright if it wasn't startrek and it didn't need to do this to get viewers
Klingons for some strange reason love Shakespear? Mabey it has something to do with a warrior culture and the name, shake spear... Not nessisarily a bad thing, but certainly odd indeed
Starfleet uniforms, and well everybody elses scream "SHOOT ME" with heavy contrasting bright colors on black.

Umm, i belive all first season was Geordi as ent D helmsman. Whats wrong with naked chicks? Starfleet uniforms arent designed for combat in the sence of camoflauge. There designed to be worn on a starship for starship operation.
You want something odd, Why people in movies 1-2-3 wore special suits in enginering, if its radiation they never wore one before? they dont wear them now? whats with the suits?

Whats wrong with naked chicks? Because if a series needs to shove boobs onto the TV to get ratings, the show is worthless. Not that all shows that have such are worthless, but those that need such in order to be watched, are worthless
