cts006: The Borg didnt think it was necessary for any more ships to be ordered to attack Earth, but they miscalculated...twice. Eufnoc: Ensigns arent the only ones who die, so do lieutenants, but there are mostly Ensigns onboard a starship so most of the people that die are ensigns...

Why, in Star Trek Generations did Troi NOT break orbit in the final battle. Riker ordered her to break orbit at the beginning of the battle and for good reason, you can't fight in orbit well and what happens if your engines fail? Oh well, Troi never broke orbit, Riker never noticed, and the ship crashed into the planet...
Star Trek has some clear continuality errors, but so do any show. The clearest one is the first Star Trek TOS show, I forget the episode name. James Kirk's gravestone had James R. Kirk on it, when it is canon that his middle name is Tiberious.
Now, the greater fun is making stories in the background to cover up such flaws. I think the R was an abbreviation of a middlename or nickname that Kirk got in his acadmey days, after all the person who made the gravestone knew Kirk well and wasn't being too nice at the time. So, thus, the R could have been an inside joke, more or less a taunting within a small battle.
Ok, here is one that really begs an explaination. Star Trek First Contact... the first warp ship cleary has positions for 3 crew and has to be crewed by 3 people... yet 2 of those people were from the Enterprise, helping out Cochrine. Since this was a famous voyage and clearly all details about it were saved for later... didn't the Enterprise SERIOUSLY screw up history by putting 2 of their crew, people who would completely vanish when the Enterprise goes into the future, on the warp ship? Where is the Prime Directive in this case?
Ok, that is my little pointed out flaw for the day...

Since Cochrane (that is how it is spelled, not Cochrine) was told about the future, maybe he didnt say that it was Riker and La Forge that were co-piloting the Phoenix. A major inconsistancy in all Star Trek seres and movies is the strength of the ships. I'll just point out a few of them. In Voyager, Paris destroyed a Kazon ship with 8 phaser blasts from a type 9 shuttle, yet the Kazon ship barely even damaged the already damaged shuttle with the same number of hits. In DS9, it seems that every other ship except the "important ones" like the Defiant, Rotarran, etc. are all destroyed so easily. In one episode of DS9, an Excelsior class was destroyed with one phaser beam from a Cardassian defence platform. Even though it could have sustained damage before, there was no visible damage to the ship that could be enough for a siingle phaser beam to rip through the hull.

ya i agree half the battles on startrek are way to much big explosions and to little realistic combat, ships get blown up by single phaser beams or pulse blast while others only lose sheilds slooowly and then take dozens of hits to the hull before exploding by far the worst continuity error EVER was the episode were tom and harry with help from neelix somehow managed to develope transwarp drive on a small shuttle even though all of starfleet, klingons, and romulans have not developed it on any of there ships with hundreds of the best scientist working on it you could try and say that becuase of there encounter with the borg tom and harry had more info on how transwarp worked than starfleet, but then again starfleet has destroyed dozens of borg ships (and no doubt worked with borg technology from them)

Yeah, and in the DS9 episode "Call to Arms", the Defiant and Rotarran fly away into the Dominion fleet. I mean, i knwo they had to go that direction to meet up with the Allied fleet coming back from Cardassian space, but hell, theres thousands of Dom ships, they would no way be able to get even near it without a pounding, and then they even cloak, which involves lowering shields. Lol, nevermind

okay, how about this. during generations, various members of the crew change styles of uniforms between scenes (obviously a limitation of shooting the scenes for the movies).
also, how is it that DS9/Voyager had a unique uniform when the rest of Starfleet used the TNG uniform? This can be explained for Voyager stuck in the Delta Quadrant, but DS9?
why does the E-D fire a literal barrage of phasers from the warp nacelles and saucer against the Borg cube in Best of Both Worlds but never fire more than one beam at a time again even when they desperately needed it (Generations comes to mind).
one more. is it just me or does Starfleet not have an Army or Marine Corps or something? security officers wind up doing that stuff and seem to fail miserably at it (think of the sterotypical redshirts on TOS).

also, how is it that DS9/Voyager had a unique uniform when the rest of Starfleet used the TNG uniform? This can be explained for Voyager stuck in the Delta Quadrant, but DS9? The original idea for the jumpsuits in DS9 was that Starfleet personnel on starships would have TNG style uniforms and personnel on stations would have DS9 style jumpsuits. This is supported by the fact that in the first seasons, most officers coming from docked ships to talk to Sisko wore the TNG style uniforms. The time it was screwed was when the Voyager crew started to wear them as only variant. It seems that it was decided to make those Uniforms one of two alternatives throughout Starfleet (supported by the fact that they are changing uniforms in Generations randomly) or finally make it for everyone (remember the introduction of new style TNG uniforms? For some time, background cast was still wearing the same jumpsuits).

And also about the strenght of the borg cube, when they first met the borg and at the masacre at wolf 359 a cube only needed to fire once at a ship and it was destroyed But if u just watch that episode of voyager where they encounter the tactical cube, they had quite a long fight with it and they werent even badly damaged
