I'd like to try Guinness (even if it's not a beer). It's stout, but still a variety of beer. It's even consistent with the German "Reinheitsgebot". And trust me, it tastes best in an Irish pub... and I mean an Irish pub in Ireland.

Yep. As stout was invented in London and as Guinness has a brewery in London... yep, that count's. But a visit to Dublin and the Guinness Hopstore is always a good idea. PS: If you don't get it at a pub, try to get those "Guinness Draught" cans with the special "floating widget" system. Get's closer to the original that way...

I must disagree with the blanket assertion that American beer = piss. I wholeheartedly agree that this is true for the big ones like Bud and Miller, but if you like Amstel and Heineken you should really try Samuel Adams. Great stuff, Boston lager.
I actually like it much better than Heineken, but tastes vary of course.

The signs in the sig are called Aurek-Besh. The Basic alphabet, yes. It's saying: "Shtev-An Veyss". It's the name I usually use within the German Star Wars community, i.e. commenting on news, posting in forums and so on. Lt.Cdr.White is not so appropriate for Star Wars. Sometimes I also use Cmdr. Veyss, it just depends on whether I want to feel like a Jedi or like a Clone Commander.

To be fair, a friend of mine once told me that his uncle referred to beer as "horse p*** in a bottle." So Samuel Adams and Guinness are the stuff, huh? Well, if that's the case, I'm in once I turn 21 (over a year from now), or maybe a little sooner whenever possible. BTW, what's "chez bud"? I've never heard of it. But it is true that each person has his/her own particular taste. When the time comes, I'll try it all out and make my own judgment on the matter. And also, when I was 5, I tried some beer, and it was .
