haha i feel so small... Sad  my comp at the moment(iam getting a new 1) is 850 mhz, 256 meg ram, lol a 10 gig hardrive... Sad  and a 32 meg grapics card, tnt 2.....what iam going to get will cost up to £1000 hehehe, athlon 2600 xp , i might get the 3 gz prosseser, and a 200 gig hardrive :-), with the most powerfull grapics card......the gforce fx....is the best! , u will need this card to run doom 3 if you really want to play it with stile, heh, oh well in till then i think ill cry  :cry:

yea the only problem with that is
1 if its the newest and best it prolly wont have drivers for other devices

2costs alot more than the model one step down that does have drivers for other comp parts(graphics card, sound card, drivers to run the games).
other than that not bad

hummm, well my friends have computers that fit very closely to my description, and they can run games fine, well better than fine, so i dont quite see you point

i am sure i have one or two 386 mainboards somewhere and also a 286 notebook which has folded the right height to be used as prop for my secondary monitor Cheesy

Well at the end of Auguest,  I'll probably get something like..
Pentium IV 3.0 Ghz
1 GB RAM
64~256 VRAM

Well, I am sure taht I can run Fleet Ops smoothly on that comp, thats really satifsactoory for me.. sigh~
