Idiot clinton gave us a horrible rep with africa after somalia. So again it wouldn't be a good idea to go back. We should probably hire mercinaries to go in like sierra leones government did in 95.
And the Iraqi government owns all the oil in iraq, but in africa various clans own certain territory, so techinically, it would be more profitable to go there, if bush was actually concerned with oil over the welfare of the civilians.

thats not trow cliton did not give us a haribal red. ashaly most contrys realy think what clinton did was the right thing to do evin if it did tern out in a mess. clinton did more in one day for africa than bush has dun for his hole ferst term.

After recent events, I've come to the only conclusion that I am willingly coming up with - I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S REAR END ABOUT A BUNCH OF STARVING ETHIOPIANS! I would instead care for the less fortunate people of places like Mississippi, New York, Los Angeles, and West Virginia. America first, and I don't care what anyone says!

I started this topic to inform those that show compasion to others could put forward there voice.
To those that have turned this into a debate on the USA....

Yes people within our own countries deserve to have there situations put right. The organisation behind this effort (Comic Relief) is a UK based charity that helps people here and in Africa.
How many time do we have to listen to the USA say NO! to every attemp to better the rest of the word.
IMO the USA should just be walled up and the lot of you cut off from the rest of us. I didnt want to get involved in this argument but as you all seem to have gotten the thread off topic its time to re-address matters.

I saw a short video of saddams henchmen torturing some guy, it was horrible. That kind of treatment leaves scars on someone for life, physical and mental. Thats what lets people be able to commit attrocities without a second thought.
So what about all the torture pictures and videos where american troops torture and humiliate Iraqees? Thats different? The rest of the world should invade the USA caus of that then right? |

I feel it necessary to explain myself. For one thing, I'm sorry for saying what I've said. Second, I was in a bad mood because the Praetor instigated an incident on the political thread about how anti-Bush people are anti-American, and it led to ewm90 reacting to my reaction of that post in which a chain reaction that involved me to go on a Hell spree badmouthing everything in sight including this thread. I should also state that I've not signed up for anything. I don't have that much money right now, but I believe that our government (I didn't say anything about the people of this country) should take care of our poor people here before anything else because people here would lose faith in our government. As for any comments about how I should buy more brain cells and how anyone would wish for me to leave this country, don't instigate anything, please. End of story. I should also state that I shall shut my mouth on this thread as long as NO ONE responds to this particular post by me. Let us move on with our lives and hope for the future. I shall also state that I wish y'all the best of luck in your valiant and noble cause.

I should mention that I apologized for raising hell on this thread. If you don't forgive me, fine. I wanted to come clean, and you, sir, apparently don't realize the aspect of forgiveness, and my guess is that you don't know much about the rules on this forum in respect to the use of profanity, especially slandering other members.
