Weather you choose to accept it or not it is coming, other members see it aswell, its all well and good asking people to stop, we don't try and make the forum an unpleasent place to be, its just a conflict of personalitys and views and this can not be helped. But what do you think is causing these forum fights?

Is it:

• The Lack Of The Fleet Operations Team
• No Moderating Of Posts/Topics/Members
• Polatics
• The Lack Of News about Version 3 and people are just subconsialy looking for a fight for somthing to do?

I personal think its all of the above, i know that the Fo Devs have a life of there own and can't be on the forums 24/7 but even if they just posted in say one topic a day just to let people know that they are here would save them a lot of work in moderation when they get back on track. If they don't have the time or rescoures to Moderate the forums then apoint somone who can, all active members must agree with me here theres a whole topic on it. The last forum fight was mostly about clan and real life polatics and peoples views and intrests clash here and it is a breeding ground for fighting, i would have the pol topic closed (like doca did the first one) and ban it from all aspects of the forum (including signetures and avtras) i would also restrict all clans to a three stikes and your out system on the forums, feel free to post and recurit but as soon as you start a forum fight strike one etc untill you clan is banned from recuritng etc on the fo board. About the news again all they need to do is post a topic saying that version 3 will be suspended untill further notice due to the moderators real life problems.

Now i know not all of you will agree with me here, and i know ewm is going to kick up a stink about everything i have just said, but for those of you who want evidence of what i have just said here is what i spent 10 minuets doing earler, i sent this in a pm to both ewm and preator:

I have tried to get all of the main problems of the forum fight (me, ewm, preator, members of rfo) to meet up but all have turned the offer down (i asked ewm to ask rfo).

I would also like to say thank you to rfo, you have not played a role in the current forum fight hence i have not asked you directly, i asked ewm if he would like to invite you along.

All of the above.  Mostly is lacking of news and team doesn't have enough time for moderating.

i think makeing post like this give a place for pepal to flam.

as long as pepal keep thare thare disagremants out of the forum we are doing good.

and post about forum fite scare pepal a whay. we shood conistrate on the fleetops mon and not what uther pepal are doing so much.

Believe it or not a topic to select a moderator would inevitabley lead to more fighting.

I think a molotov cocktail will send the same message, unless the message burns too.

I agree with all above, I also agree with Legacies proposal but everyone would have to agree to that first

its ok, don't spam his email inbox etc, he will just ignor them, i have his addreass and with the goahead of other members i will send a letter to Doca it will have a lot more impact if he think that members are that despreat to send a letter by air mail all the way to Germany to do this.

2. Flaming - Attacking someone due to an opinion or expressed views in a post. Just don't do it. If someone does something silly, maybe post a topic in the wrong forum, screaming and shouting at them is no good. If you do that we'll either delete or edit your post. Instead, let them know the error and guide them into the right action. Obviously if someone's just being an asshole we'll deal with it. Remember, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Admins, global moderators and moderators will decide a punishment if any for flaming. The rule over whose decision is more important (Section 3) still applies here. Team Members, moderators, global moderators and Admins are expected to behave sensibly with relation to flaming. If you think one of the above groups (mentioned in the previous sentence) is participating in flaming, please contact an admin directly

please dont take ation in to your own hand it crates more problom if you have a problom with some one flaming  pleaes use the Report bution and leev it at that.

keeping post like this going crats more probloms than it solves. i think in the last 3 treads maby it was 4 i have lost track have gotin the idea all ready i think you  whay over doing it. and this has be come mager spaming 3-4 topics all about the same thing that wastfull. the uther topics wher deteeded or locked be cuss the fo teem did not wont tham to continuwe. i think what to much inergy is put in to waching uther pepal but pepal dont put a nuff energy in to waching tham selves.
