pls download Directory Lister from http://freeware.prv.pl/ and make a file list of your fleetops folder (after a fresh install in a clean folder) and of your armada 2 cd and attach the two files here

hehe, i am not sure if i can fix that, that seems more like a odf problem for me (only some races crash and so on), thats optecs job now Smiley
...or do you want to make me a dxdiag log file pls? Cheesy

mh, ok let's see what it could be Smiley
pls download logfile.cfg and put it into your Fleet Operations directory.
Then start the game as normal and play till it crashes (which should be at the very beginning in your case).
Thenn go to your Fleet Operations\Logs directory, where now should be a logfile.
pls send me the log file (or post it here).

ahhhhhhh and where am i suppose to get this file.......hmmmmmm seems my coffee has not kicked in today i get the impression that iam missing something here...... :omg:

well hi iam the resident polar bear and iam here to report a interesting find.....i have discovered that i can play any species.....either as player or ai opponent as long as there are no federation .....i just played for the very time  as a borg,,,,yeahhhhhh and will be doing some further research on the matter lol i have the file downloaded and will be sending in the results as i get crashes....thanks for the help

well hi again its me, well well after my 8th reload of fleet ops we have lift off, actually played as all races,,good job men...now any possiciblity of getting this jumpy mouse cursor thingy fixed that makes the game quite hard to play...thanks and see you tomorrow in the tournament

dies the mousecursor flicker? i think there is a option for this in the grafics option menu.. 'asynchronus mouse cursor' or something like this
