Yep, thats a general fault
which operating system are u using? Under windows 98 sometimes problems with memory handling occur. Try to close all applications before starting armada and check if the problem persists.
Have you installed the newest drivers available for your graphics card and a directx version higher than 8.0?
Look if this error occurs in other games too using directx 8 or higher.

well armada II without mod plays just fine...............just having problems with the mod.......0/s is 98se.................have considered other o/s but then you have the ramp up time of relearning the ins and out of the system so will stick with this for now.....will just delete the mod until you get the next gen out ,thanks everyone

so Smiley
when you have no probs with other mods at all than you shouldn't have with this one, maybe try reinstalling, just for interest, do you have an armada cd with preinstalled 1.1 patch?

have you installed Fleet Operations over an existing armada2 copy, applied any patch after installing beta1.1? The FLeet Operations installer does everything itself, so you do not need to install any armada before.. if you have done try again in a blank folder.. this is a mistake most user do.. just as a hint Smiley

not all, but when they miss the screen that installing in a existing armada installation is NOT recommended Cheesy
but it could be that sometimes the armada uninstaller fails and setup continues with any warning, that is fixed with the next beta anyway

okay i shall try that..............too comment on other advice...............no was not loaded over a existing armada.......................was loaded as a standalone program.......................by reading the comments on the existing beta version out and i downloaded the most current,,,,that no further patches were needed that this beta contained them.............still do enjoy the game and looking forward to being able to play on line.............keep up the good work all us hard core trek fans are greatful.
