Beside us we had a big Druglord. We've had to live with him for three years beside us. That meant constant crime, hookers, fights etc. This guy gave us so much trouble over the years that all the neighbors are cheering. The nieghbourhood is now a safe place. cheesy This is nice. The druglord's house crushed! cheesy I was seriously scared to go outside at night, they had a weapons stash in there.

Well, that's one thing you folks can live without.  Crime can be such a pain.  I hear about it like most of the time here in Pittsburgh.  That's one reason I intend to move to West Virginia where I can have a fresh start.  I don't care how poor it is over there and I don't care if they're all hicks or rednecks or inbreds (which I seriously doubt).

Gosh that's too bad you had a druglord living next to you. In America you'd just politely inform him that you and your whole family are armed to the teeth and he better play nice. This usually fixes the problem. Even the hardcore gangster types can be reasoned with when they have reasonable fear of looking down the barrel of a 12 gauge.

This is what the police officer said when we first talked to him about the problem.

"This is not the States where you can just go in, bash down the door, and take 'em out. First I have to get a warrent from a judge, get proof of whats happening there, and stake out the place for study. I hate that guy too, but thats the way Canada works."

That's why we had to wait so long.

I don't mean to sound political, but we also have the same procedure in which warrant must be served for either searching or arrest although cops tend to do the searching and arresting before the warrants are issued and what they're doing is technically unconstitutional by going against procedure.  There are circumstances where procedure might give criminals a loophole way out, but what if cops laxing out procedure would do this to someone who is innocent?  I'm only being fair.
