I don't know the spherical shield isn't all that well fundament in the A2 source, it should be pretty easy to modify, now weather it is worth thier time or not is a different question. probably not, although I would love the starting color to be Blue for most races rather than green

Oh kind of a blue-green-yellow-red progression? That would be cool, most of the shield effects on the show are white or blue so it would make sense.
