thes werm holes can ether move ore jump pont to pont. thay dont work like nomral wermhiles whare you have to click to enter the werm hole. when you get neer one you are pulled in.

thay can be detected by useinf sawnts or the fed prob of uther spestial wepinds.
when one is deteted neer the sawt the sawt will stop in frunt of it. and werning indicaters will hapin on the map. or isposabul add a new lite to the controle bar.

what do you think?

this would be really anoying having your flag ship of you fleet possibly sent stright in to the base, even worse having you con ship just randomly dropped infront of a load of cubes and assimalated or somthing.

well that depinds on the map maker you will determin making the map whare the werm hole gose.

How about this, when you approach an invisable wormhole, there'd be a warning buoy. When you come to the treashold, it give off a wave effect, a warning, and you'd try to avoid that area.

what about making the warning buoy an optional componet. i can think of whays to use it with out the warning buoy.

That'd work too, but we'd have to make it so that the wormholes arn't too big and somewhat out of the way so that ships arn't being sucked in all the time. Smiley

Now i do belive this is not posible just in the regard that you wouldent   be able to have normal wormholes anymore, than theres making them jump!!! and last but not least making them just suck ships in instead of having to enter the worm hole.

well you cant make it ot a werm hole and make it an invisabul trans war gate that jumps a rawd or some thing. i think if the fo teem likes it it whood be werth a triy.

I really don't think Invisible Wormholes that suck you in is possible. You could make a cencer that could detect them, though, and when the wormhole is in range of the censer you could go though it. Or you could randomly click on the map until you find it....

yeah that would be a source code thing and the whole navigations sytem in general would be close to impossible to modify not to mention possilbly the most complex part of the source nav systems
