I voted for option B and here me out
 
seeing as starfleet adopted nacells that move u could add a animation to the ship to shift its nacelles for when it goes hyper impulse ?

I voted option A, But i think 4 of 11 has a great idea, assuming in V3 it will have hyper inpulse. I think that it would be quite easy to animate it and would look realy cool.

Yep, cause the Canaveral has neither Hyperimpulse nor is there warp in Fleet Operations i used fixed nacells (i must admit i don't know if moving nacells are even possible to realize without the source code). But i used the idea from Preator Defiant and used "Sovereign style" nacell holders (no sharp edge between 0 and 45 degree). It was quite interesting, i think i should invite you to design polls about new starships more often Smiley

Well this model redo (and some gameplay redo too) did only replace the existing Canaveral. The last remaining Federation vessel is the Phalanx Class for Admiral Risner but i expect its completion soon
