But in most cases cable is faster, unless you request a faster DSL, but then you can always get a faster cable.

cable does slow slightly the more computers pluged into it but it is usalluy faster that equivanlty priced DSL
(especialy if cable company gives discounts to those who have cable tv for star trek observing)

Oh no I wasn't planning on getting it I was planning on using a computer that has cable internet and saving v3 to disk like i did v2 so that in the odd event i need a christmas present for someone... but yeah the school has t-1 so I am not worried
