this wepin cood replace the NPC ship you have from the fucher, speshal wepind with some thing like it but more real.


this whood shoot a small modifed torp that whood sint a sock wave that wood. disabul:

well in some voyager and tng episodes we heard about em fluctuations..

the Dominion Siege Cruiser has a special weapon called "EM Blast" so tis time i was faster then you, ewm90 Tongue

Those fluctuations were usually caused by faulty equipment, not an outside source...

Yeah the shields are not only gravimetric but electromagnetic as well, I remember some references to their absolute invulnerability to lasers (EM) and thats why phasers were invented ...

well the physics dont make sins if thay stoped lasers we shood not be abul to see thow tham. lasers are just lite.

and star terk cases the lows physics per episode. so i whood say its up to the desiners.

thats why SW would never win they use lasers, lasers can't get though shields, and its a different univserse where the force in gone, so they would be killed.

Actually, if memory serves, TNG did have some weapons/anomalies that completely drained power from a ship for a period of time.

While i dont think these were EM-based weapons, i think they were used to create some kind of energy-dampening field (a good example is that used in 'Night Terrors' [TNG-S4]). Smiley Thus basically preventing any high powered electrical system (or what ever form of power used in the 24thC)  from working for a time being, including engines, sheilds and weapons.
