Well all I can tell you is where the NCC 1701 came from as for why name it enterprise is beyond me, I have also noticed startrek seeping into alot of other non related shows, Especially Stargate SG-1 episode the Other Guys. And Some show my sibling was watching had one of the cartoon characters dressed like a borg for halloween, and there are some others that I can't quite remeber

Yeah hypospray has been around for decades, it's generally more painful than needle and is used in mass injection scenarios, like at a military recruit depot that can process hundreds of people a day, it saves on the cost of needles.

spam cairo, TIs funny, the definition for Enterprise is....well i looked it up and 3 came up, the other 2 explane the name. the first, the one we think of normaly out of ST
1 enterprise
an organization created for business ventures; "a growing enterprise must have a bold leader"
But the other two, check it out.
a purposeful or industrious undertaking (especially one that requires effort or boldness); "he had doubts about the whole enterprise
readiness to embark on bold new ventures
lol guess it explanes it. lol now to get that Hypo info.
