I live in rural maine and there is to many bush fans up here who like bush and they don't know why. And the people who did want bush again said it was because of 'morals' BULLsh*t!!!! okay it's all right to declare war on a country, send innocent men adn women to die and fight for no reason but not okay to have an abortion when the mother has cancer and the only way for her to survive is to hav kemotherapy but that would harm the unborn, non-conscious, barley living fetus and the mother has to suffer a horrible death at the hands of cancer, tell me the morality in this.

no, voting bush back in was the worst mistake the american people have made in a while and little do they know the evil they have unleashed upon us all. When my friends say it's great bush is back in, i say when the draft is reinstated you wont be.

bush, with him in office, we are safe. because if you piss bush off, you'll either be 1)staring at hundreds of ICBM's raining down on your nation
2)watching as your people are slaughtered by our military on a "police action"

Come on guys, a draft would be awesome! Aren't you ever sitting around at home, bored out of your mind, wishing there was something cool to do? Think about it: travel to exotic places, shoot really big guns, and have the satisfaction of sending terrorists/insurgents/brutal murdering thugs straight to Allah's hell. And the government is always hiring! So much for unemployment!

i have to agree with ewm90 a draft is a violation of our so called freedom, in this country we are supposed to be free, if we are forced to go into teh military to kill other people, wether it be a good and just cause or not is by my definition a violation of my freedom. I wish no harm against other people and what about people with medical conditions who cannot serve, what of them?

The fact that you are so hung over conspiracys of the president actually being able to do something after saying he wouldn't with no intervention of the congress or supreme court scares me.

well... cause he did things like that. the UN said "stop it, dont attack the iraq", 24 hours later he sent out troops.
and i think its possible that he could changes his mind like he would say "we wont send troops to africa" and a video of bin laden or the alquaida hits the tv... i think you know what i am trying to say with this. cause there is no hate in my words or on my mind at all, while i thought about this.

//Edit: anyway, this thread is like groupies talking about who their idol is "mine is better/no mine".
