Errr....
 The download for the 98 mb Beta 2 and patch, got to 62% and 57.4 mb, it left a saved file with that total amount of information, but for reasons beyond my understanding the file just saved and stopped downloading, does anyone know why it might do something like this and if their is anything I can do that doesn't involve another 9 hour download :cry:

Hi and welcome to the forums! Smiley
Yep, a downloadmanager like getright is a very useful tool if you have a low connection, cause you can stop and continue your downloads any time.

which mirror did you use, just out of interest?
you might have luck by getting a download manager and begin your download of fleet operations, stop it, close your download manager, rename the file with your begun fleet operationd download, rename your file you already have downloaded now to the filename of the one your d/l manager created. start your download manager again and hope he accepts the file as it's own

master-downloading.de, the bottom one on the list.

Oh, and while I am at it does anyone know a good, free download manager I saw something free but it looked to say the least sketchy at best

* up to *400% faster
4-8 connections not just one
saves,
all you have to do is be willing to receive weekly e-mails, that you can un-subscribe from at any time  LOL

but other than that thank you all, and I am glad I found you guys

Is it 400% faster or up to 400% faster?

most download managers are capable of doing more than 1 connection. and if servers are really slow like 2kb sek you could open more than one connection to them so you get 2kb multiplicated with the number of connections you have (that depends on the server of course) i don't think there is a real use for 56k users with multi connections.

I'd like to point out that he edited his post 2 hours after I made mine, so no I didn't know. And no, not like it gives 56ks more bandwidth.
