got an idea...

maybe its just a no-cd patch? or otherwise altered executable? maybe that NAT in the router config is enabled(the firewall of the router or stuff like that), that f***ed up my games in the past, so i couldnt host games and so on.

have no no-cd patch so thats not it, no firewall is enabled, i guess i'll have to put 2300 to 2400 manually in my port forwarding

read trough my recommandations, try dxport so you don't have 100 ports to forward but ten

btw. no need to open a new thread. topics merged

all i know is that gamespy always send that message about the ip change and that it might be caused by a router but that is absolutely crap as i layed online FO games without any problems. so don't take that too serious

direct ip games should be no problem with the two port forwardings (or 10 + 1 port forwardings) stated in nethelp.txt (or see above in my post) with dxport. but i'am sure your router supports port ranges too...

it was actually never closed, but whatever. just come to the chat sometimes and check for someone who like to test/has knowledge with routers/wants to play a match with you or against you Smiley
