If you have a large fleet with assimilators, and a few cubes, build a transwarp hub. Send a cube through to near the enemy base. As soon as they begin attacking, lead them into the conduit. When you get out, let some ships follow you, then close it. Have assimilators set to auto weapon, and let them assimilate the crews. When all ships are assimilated/ destroyed, beam over crew and repair. I got a very large fleet like this.

well maybe but u have to admit i have cut down loads on the one word posts and when i do say "lol" or something of the sort it's normaly after a sentance. (or in this case in the sentance)
