This is a basic outline for the new mini mod im working on.
The omega molecule, Powerfull enough to sustain an entire civilication for eternity or powerfull enough to destroy an enemey.
Each race will be able to harvest The boromite ore recquired to create the omega molecule. Before Omega can be used 4 technowledgies but be researched, Harvesting, Synthisization, Stabilization, and deployment.
The first 3 techs will mainly be the same for all races but the deployment is what differes the most.
BORG:
The borg will have "Perfection" for deployment, this will give a power boost to the speed, weapon dammage, and shield capacity of ships and stations under borg control.
Romulan: The romulans will take the aproach of a weapon of mass destruction, The "O-bomb" will be able to deliver a powerfull explosion and shockwave capable of destroying entire sectors of space, it is rumoured that such a device may instead of explosion implode creasting a tear in subspace.
Klingon: The klingons will use the Power of omega to increase the eficinecy of there weapons by nearly 200%. Giving the klingons a great advantage to all who apose them.
Federation: To be determined.

What about giving the Federation the ability to partly withstand the Omega induced effects of the other races.
Their directive is to destroy any Omega particels they find, so this would be appropriate.

My idea for the federation is 2 diferent routes i could implement iether they would create a power device giving a shield and speed boost or they would destroy omega after hoarding the bormomite ore. But so far this is a mini mod, a few new stations or ships releated to omega, but it will most likely grow into a larger mod.

New update:
I have decided that the cominion will be added to the game and the cardassians taken out.
The dominion Omega super power will involve the creation of a shipyard that will build selected ships at an increased speed and at a cheaper cost, and an advanced cloning center/ ketrecel white facility that will clone jemhadar at an increased rate and give more ketrecel white to the pool. (Ketrecel should replace oficers for the dominion)

Throw the Cardies and Dominion in together. They both got limited canon ship designs so it makes perfect sense. Hediki as their scouts, Bugships make up their destroyers, Galors and Kledons as their light and heavy cruisers, Dominion battleships as their battleships, and the big ass Dom dreadnought for the dreadnought.

The cardies wont be mixed with the dominion. This wasnt a descicien i didnt made kightly, there may be some cardie things on maps like a cardie fleet sitting next to the dominion base just waiting to be taken over.

I dunno I think Optecs thinkin about doin that. It's a good idea tho, they were together in the Dominion war so it makes perfect sense to be able to build all of their ships.
