i'm working on a gigantic 8-player map (100.000 x 100.100) asteroid maze-like, with plenty room though...

since zip is already bigger than 200k i'll post a link as soon as its ready Smiley

 premature optimism....

i created a 100.000 x 100.000 map for 8-players and it doesn't work Sad
(corridors, balanced start locations, nebulae, asteroids...)

50k x 50k seems to be the limit... sorry

Dam* it! wrong thread (the previous post) i apologize  :omg:

on with the bussiness...

Betrayal v1...

It`s a 8-player map (size 50.000 x 50.000)

A 3 vs. 3 balanced map with plenty resources and quite a few neutrals in the middle (and a few boardable:).

I apologize again

All of Betrayal maps are of course 6-player maps, not 8-pl.

I cant think straight, because of upcoming FO 3

...the 3rd ver. of Betrayal, also 30k x 30k

Another GREAT map named Apocalypse...

It`s a 4-player map;

size: 15.000 x 15.000
A non-balanced map with maze steroids, nebulae and wormholes.

Lots of fun!

Dead Sea

It`s a 4-player map.

Smaller map, open space, a few neutrals, nebulae and planetoids --> still plenty room for surprises Smiley

For anyone who is interested ....

i released a map pack of all my maps; it's available at armada2files.com and/or AFC (unfortunately i couldn't post the file here since it's too big Sad )

11 maps (+ 4 variants) for Fleet Operations (FleetOps v2) conversion of Star Trek Armada 2.

Essentially diverse maps to fill the void in FleetOps map continuum and simply to make the selection greater.

Map list (in alphabetical order):

Apocalypse - 4 players
Betrayal - 6 players (3 different map variants)
Bystander - 8 players
Centerfold - 6 players (2 different map variants)
Challenger - 8 players
A Dare - 6 players
Dead Sea - 4 players
Kobayashi Maru - 7 players (2 different map variants)
Myriad - 3 players
Rabbit - 5 players
Tadeja - 8 players

Screenshots included.

Have fun!!  Cheesy

Oh, i also made a giant map 100.000 x 100.000 called Innuendo complete with everything, if anyone thinks he can get it to work just say the word... i'll send the map.
