If it looks right and good: Pro!

If it simply is out of context: Contra!

It should fit to the one using the signature, no matter if there are animated gifs in it or not. Take my sig: It is not nervously blinking, it just adds some effects to the signature.

If sigs detract too much and are flashing fast and furious, than it's... irritating.

Btw: If someone feels too irritated by my signature,
I can change it (reduce it), if it is necessary.

PS: Mighty Rom's signature is (or was) taking about 6 times more memory than my signature does. That's another point.
