Somehow it looks weired, the orientation is tilted after turning and then snaps into position.

Somehow that turning scheme looks not so fluid as mine (which I did myself).
I prefer having it turning either clockwise or counterclockwise, not changing in the middle
You see, yours are moving:
top view =right=> "nose to viewer" =left=> side view,
while mine is moving:
top view =right=> "nose to viewer" =right=> side view =right=> top view
Another reason for doing it this way for me was: It's that way on the displays in the show/movies, if I'm right. Looks more elegant.
