Back in the day when I was a lego freak and it didn't cost so much for a bunch of plastic...I could make anything. I forgot I still had them in a box after 3 years, I also got a BoP.

I started building simple small (fitting for my then still tiny hands Wink) TOS communicators and phasers when I was 5 or 6.

In fact, when building something from Star Trek later, it was always something 1:1 like phasers, tricorders, communicators and so on. I still have a PADD made of Lego and a TOS Communicator.

What I can remember is a TNG Phaser (first version), TNG Tricorder, ST V+VI phaser pistol with detachable magazine, TOS Phaser pistol with detachable Hand Phaser and the TNG PADD.

Does anyone here know Startours? The Star Wars ride in Disneyland? I made a Starspeeder 3000 of Lego, fitting to the other Star Wars Lego stuff.

I think Lego was always good for childrens creativity. However, it has changed too much in my opinion. To many special parts, too few creativity. It hasn't much to do with what I used to know.

I never made anything but small ships, if you tried to make a lego gun or something it would usually fall apart, thats before I got good at it tho.

Be neat if they did come in kits, no I made that by myself, before I got into star trek I made a HUGE star wars Calamari cruiser.
