I got bored one day, and decided to have an almost impossible fight against the Borg. On the 7-Player Defend map, I put myself in the 'defend' position, and then all the other spots (including the one next to me) I put in hard Borg AIs (all on the same team). The guy next to me nearly got all the derelict ships, but I got two Premonitions and DESTROYED HIS BASE WITH MY SMALL FLEET!!!!!! LOL I built up my defenses in the small 'corridor' and then worked on creating a fleet. But then the other team combined their forces :omg: (love and hate the AI) destroyed my defenses (THREE OUTPOSTS AND TWO SPACE DOCKS along with several defense platforms) but my partial fleet was able to stop the remaining ships. I rebuilt the defenses and waited for more resourses to come in. I soon built the rest of my fleets (the majority of which were Soveriegns and Defiants) and destroyed two of the bases before having to recover back home (I had three fleets). The I went and destroyed the other bases and then destroyed every last ships wandering around. If I sound like I'm bragging, tell me. I usually only play against medium AIs, so I'm an intermidiate. And it only took me 3 1/2 hours! cheesy

And make them bigger, that map was a little too small, but it was fun and HARD.

lol i once made a map that was 100,000 x 100, 000 it took me ships about 10 min to get from end to end lol and it was almost impossible to defeat the ai coz he set up and built somwhere else and its like looking for a needle in a haystack lol.

I think there should be one with you surrounded by asteroids and one EXTREMELY long corrider that leads to your base. Then there would be tons of turrets and other defense platforms to weaken the ships of your 6 opponents, then a couple of outposts or starbases at either end. Cheesy  It would have to be a large map though.

Ahhhh, I think I just might make a map like that for this version. Even though it might be kinda empty.
