what are some of the other sci-fi games peeps like out there?
i personally like freelancer, but i don't own it yet. Does anyone know where i can get it cheap.

Hm.. i like Starcraft.. also i don't play it anymore, the story still is wonderful.
I don't know if you would call it scifi, but UT2003 also is a nice game for multiplayer.

Conquest frontier wars was an Excellent Sci Fi Rts also Starcraft + Broodwar (Gotta love Marines)
other than them the only other good Sci fi Rts i can remeber is Ground Control
and St:A1 E+f mod  Cheesy

as for Other Sci fi got to be StarLancer that Game rocks also hmm Earth 2150 is kool

earth 2150: Lost Souls Demo is pretty good, dont have full
and also i do not have frontier wars
ORB wasn't that bad, IMHO

earth 2150 lost souls is the same as moon project but with new missions. i didn't like the ORB gameplay somehow, but homeworld is one of these game types i like  Smiley Homeworld has also nice Star Trek mods Smiley

The one that sucks is Hegemonia i was expecting soo much more but the Gameplay sucked bad

WHAT...Haegemonia is one of the best Sci-Fi RTS games ive ever played!!! the explosions are great, the spys actually do stuff (unlike some games), planets have been put in really well.......

But the Fighter Battles arent good looking and sometimes it takes just too long for Ships to get across the system i can understand the way they did it but the Attack patterns are too Predictable
