B2: Problems Installing

hey

i was really excited to play fleet ops, I just found my armada 2 cd after a year of missing it. A weird thing: when I try to install fleet ops, the installer hangs while creating armada.pal. it simply stops responding, no errors or anything like that. Nothing I have tried has worked. any suggestions?

thare cood be a nuber of resons whay that is hapaning

the ones i can think of:

1)files still remane be find from delteding it be for

2) some thing left in the registry

3) a conflict with a nuther file or reg elamint on the computer

4) the disk or the hard drive is dameged.

if you can not figer it out on your own than the only ad vise i have is to format maby some one elss has a beter idea?

welcome to the forums weyoun!
could you please try to install again and try to attach the setup log. to do that right click on setup output and copy it to clipboard, paste it into notepad and save it to a file. attach it to this thread then please.
Also you could try to temporary disable your anti virus program as it's real time protection may interfere with setup.
if you have a secondary cd drive you could try to install from it. maybe that helps
